You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this requirement.

3. AI Disclaimer — Not Professional Advice

• Responses are generated by AI and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your specific situation
• Do not use this Service as a substitute for professional mental health care
• If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or a crisis helpline immediately
• DetectiveL AI is not responsible for decisions you make based on AI responses
• Always exercise your own judgment and seek professional help when needed

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other individuals
• Plan or facilitate illegal activities
• Generate content that promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech
• Attempt to extract harmful instructions or bypass safety measures
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying AI model or prompts
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent
• Share your account credentials with others

Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of your account without notice or refund.

5. Account Registration

You may use certain features without an account. To access conversation history and memory features, registration is required. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. • Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of charge

• Free tier availability and limits are subject to change

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and AI responses generated by the Service are the intellectual property of DetectiveL AI or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission. You retain ownership of the content you provide as input to the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DetectiveL AI and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to emotional harm, relationship outcomes, or decisions made based on AI advice.

Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or prominent notice in the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
